Performance

Way back in 1995 I found my first “magic board”, a 6’5” Al Merrick squash tail thruster that changed what I thought I could do on a wave. The first board I shaped (pictured) that gave me that same feeling in 1998 was 6’8” pintail thruster (with my Canadian paint job) for stronger surf in Hawaii . Being deep in the pocket with the rail buried on a high line, throwing buckets of spray off the lip, and turning on a dime, are things that are hard to experience on any other style of surfboard. Whether you are looking for a summertime groveler, speedy quad, go-to thruster, or a step-up for the good stuff, we can bring out the slasher in you.

Dream it. Build it. Surf it.
