Hulls, A-Syms, & Edge Boards

“I’ve been surfing for almost forty years, and I just learned to surf today.”

— The words of a friend the day he first surfed a Greg Liddle 7’10” Hull.

I felt the same way the first time I rode one, and it opened my mind to the endless possibilities in alternative board design. Ever since that day I have been inspired to shape and ride boards that are far from mainstream; hulls, edge boards, flex-tails, finless, speed-squares, mega-Simmons, stringer-less bars of soap, and anything else that can expand my understanding of water dynamics and what is possible if you don’t start a ride with a pre-conceived notion of what you are “supposed to do” on a wave. If you yearn for something you can’t buy off a rack, and want a ride you haven’t experienced yet, let’s explore the possibilities together.

Dream it. Build it. Surf it.
